A GIRLS' night out to see Sex and the City at the Radway Cinema, Sidmouth, has raised £717.37 for Breast Cancer Care. Friends Julie Chapman, Jane Todd and Penny Tutty organised the evening and are pictured with some of the raffle prizes donated by local businesses for the fundraiser. Burford Lighting gave money to provide chocolates for each table and Roly's Fudge gave fudge for every table. Coca Cola donated soft drinks and Waitrose gave Cava to offer guests Bucks Fizz on arrival. The trio said: "Everyone looked fabulous and made such an effort and the raffle prizes were fantastic. We had such a lot of support from the town and the staff at the cinema were just amazing." Julie added: "We sold 80 tickets and sold out within the first day. I would absolutely love to do it again if the opportunity arises. It gave us a big buzz." Letters of thanks have gone to all those who donated prizes.
