Well known Sidmouth couple, Valerie and Nigel Sharp, are this month celebrating 60 years of togetherness.

The couple met and fell in love in Worthing and were married on March 25, 1961. Two delightful daughters, Mandy and Tina, were born making the family complete.
After a career in the automotive parts industry, the Sharps retired to Sidmouth in 2005 to be closer to their now-married daughters and five grandchildren.

Valerie has made many friends in Sidmouth, and likes to help others through the Inner Wheel, Sidford Women's Institute and the Memory Café.

Nigel spends all his energy on the golf course at Sidmouth, enjoying the company of his many friends. Nigel is also a member of Probus and of Sidmouth Rotary Club. He enjoys playing his part in raising money for good causes in the town with his Rotary colleagues.

Mandy, Tina, sons-in-law Gerry and Bryan, and grandchildren Aggie, Jake, Ollie, Natalie, Harry and step-son Josh sent their love and blessings to them on their special Diamond Wedding anniversary.
