WITH its spectacular Yee Ha! float with a true Wild West flavour, Sid Vale Carnival Club won best overall at Saturday’s first East Devon carnival procession at Seaton.
The club came first in the open category for floats over 30 feet, beating South Brent’s Monarch of the Glen.
The Sidford-based club obviously means to carry on in the same vein for tomorrow’s carnival at Colyton, which sets off at 8pm.
