THE efforts of Leisure East Devon's retiring board members were recognised by East Devon District Council at a formal reception this week.
After three years of service Chairman John Micklethwait, of West Hill, vice chairman David Harrison, of Sidmouth, and trustee Sarah Peacock from Sidbury, were among the group which stood down from office at the LED Annual General Meeting on Tuesday.
They were commended for their work in having established the success of LED, the charitable trust that manages EDDC's leisure facilities.
