POLICE are appealing for information after Sid Vale Scouts hut was broken into this week.

Entry was gained through a window of the building, located on Salcombe Hill, between 11am on Sunday and 2pm on Tuesday.

Bottles of pop and other goods were taken and dumped around the hut and a wooden table was set on fire.

Anyone with information should ring Sidmouth Police on 08452 777444 quoting crime reference number KS/09/275.
