A CHEQUE for �1,6043 was presented by Sid Valley Rotary President, John Loveridge to Bev Thomas from the Sidmouth branch of the Friends of Children’s Hospice South-West, during Monday’s club meeting.
A delighted Bev said: “The donation is very timely since we are about to embark on a project to provide a hoist which will enable the children to get into the baths safely at the Hospice.”
Children’s Hospice South West has it’s head office in Barnstaple but provides hospice care for children from the East Devon area and the South West.
