THE Sidbury and Sidford branch of the Royal British Legion were treated to a day trip to the Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) Yeovilton, which took in sights that included the only flying Swordfish in the world (pictured).
Honorary branch secretary Valerie Hull said members and friends enjoyed the recent visit, which took in Fleet Air Arm Museum and Royal Navy Historic Flight. She thanked Commander Richard Seymour AFC RN, community relations officer at RNAS Yeovilton, Hilary Harper, group tours manager at Fleet Air Arm Museum and three volunteer guides led by Richard Hufton.
The group took this photograph of a Swordfish of the Royal Navy Historic Flight.
