SIDBURY Fair Horticultural Show attracted 50 more entries than last year.

The event, held at Sidbury Social Club at the start of fair week, attracted more than 300 entries. Kieron Bews and Tracy Humphries had the hard task of judging them all. There was standing room only for the prize giving and auction of produce and the raffle featured prizes donated by local businesses.

The 700 made on the day was presented to a representative of Devon Air Ambulance on fair day, September 15.

Show committee chairman Roger Davey said: “Thank you to everyone who contributed to the draw and auction, and made the whole day great fun.”
