SIDBURY Embroidery Group unveiled their new wall hanging during a WI hot cross bun coffee morning at the weekend.

The beautiful hanging, which depicts events that take place in Sidbury, will now be draped on a wall in Sidbury Village Hall.

Cheque presentations were also made to two charities by Friends of Sidbury WI from their successful annual pancake day last month.

Representatives of St Petrocks, who work with homeless people in Exeter and Force, who support people in and around Exeter, were each given £250 by the group.

The Easter themed coffee morning which took place on Saturday was very well attended.

Scores of hot cross buns were consumed and around £250 was collected for Sidbury WI.
