Driver taken to hospital with minor injuries

Ambulance, police and fire crews were in Sidbury this morning after they received reports of a car on its roof.

A police spokesperson confirmed a lane on the A375 Putt’s Corner towards Honiton was closed for a short while because of the incident.

The driver of the BMW M3, which had rolled onto its roof after it left the road, was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with minor injuries.

The lane has since reopened.
