Cockney knees-up at Sidford’s Blue Ball pub raises cash for British Heart Foundation
A RIGHT Cockney knees-up at Sidford’s Blue Ball pub has raised �350 for the British Heart Foundation.
Baz Breadmore from Water Lane, Sidmouth, organised the event, which was packed out.
“Some dressed up as Cockneys and John and Beryl Watson from Honiton won the fancy dress prize as Pearly King and Queen,” said Baz, who held the event on his birthday, Friday, May 13.
Bangers and mash were served and a draw was supported by the Blue Ball, Halls Estate Agents and Spar, Sidmouth, who gave prizes.
