CASH-strapped Sid Vale Carnival Club will host a fundraising coffee morning in Sidford tomorrow.
CASH-strapped Sid Vale Carnival Club will host a fundraising coffee morning in Sidford tomorrow.
The event, in the village's social hall from 10am, has been arranged after members revealed the award-winning club is running low on funds and has resorted to "going further afield" with its fundraising for the first time in 25 years.
The club's Disney themed float bagged the East Devon Cup last year, collecting a further 22 trophies in 15 appearances.
Sid Vale member Marion Perry said: "We want let everybody know we exist and that we will going out in the first carnival on September 4. It would be great if people could come along and support us."

The coffee morning will feature stalls, fresh vegetables, cards and bric-a-brac.
