Taste of Africa evening at The Knowle, Sidmouth, will raise funds to build school for children in Buturi, Tanzania.

IT’S all systems go for a Taste of Africa evening at The Knowle, Sidmouth, to raise funds to build a school for children living in Buturi, Tanzania.

The Buturi Makongoro Project, set up by former villager Judith Smith, who runs Sanaa House, Sidmouth, has already provided fresh water there.

Tickets for next Saturday’s (March 19) black tie dinner dance are �30 and available from Judith’s High Street shop or call (01395) 513311.

Local chefs Nicola Davey from Baraza and Jerry Gosling, manager of Mustard Seed, are preparing the food for the evening, which starts at 6pm.
