FIT Sidmouth and Ottery St Mary fundraisers will get on their bikes to raise cash for Comic Relief next Friday.
A Red Nose Day exercise bike marathon will take place at both towns' leisure centres on March 13 and organisers are on the lookout for participants.
A Leisure East Devon Spokesman said: "The idea is to keep a studio bike going constantly at each of the centres between specified times- it will be a real physical challenge.
"Lots of staff and centre members have already signed up to take part but we're still looking for volunteers- whether you think you can manage five minutes or 55 minutes we would love to hear from you."
