Three fire engines were mobilised to an address in Perkins Village yesterday (Sunday).

Crews from Sidmouth, Ottery and Middlemoor were called to an address in Perkins Village after reports of a kitchen fire.

The engines were mobilised shortly before 10.20am yesterday (Sunday) to a property in Rosamondford Farm.

A Devon and Somerset Fire Service spokesman said the crews from Ottery and Sidmouth were not required.

He added: “Crews confirmed this to be a small fire involving a chip pan frying unit, crews removed this from the building.
