THE Annual Open Air Charity Exhibition of paintings, organised by Sidmouth Society of Artists takes place on Saturday.
It will be held in Connaught Gardens from 10am-4pm and will feature a range of paintings produced by society members.
John Evans, exhibition officer, said: "The chosen charity that the society will be supporting this year is Sidmouth Victoria Hospital Comforts Fund and we expect to have about 35 society artists participating by donating the commission raised from the sale of paintings, prints and cards."
All proceeds raised from the one-day event, together with more funds raised during a society coffee morning in October will be donated to a representative of Sidmouth Victoria Hospital Comforts Fund.
* The coffee morning will be held at the Westcliff Hotel on Tuesday, October 27 from 10am-11.30am.
