Art exhibition and coffee morning raise nearly �400 for Sidmouth Hospiscare
SIDMOUTH’S Society of Artists held its annual meeting at the Westcliffe Hotel, Sidmouth, on Tuesday and presented a cheque to Sidmouth Hospiscare trustee Dorothy Reid.
Hospiscare, the Society of Artists’ chosen charity for this year, gave �375, which combined the proceeds from the open-air exhibition it staged at Connaught Gardens in late August, at which was displayed work from Society members, and the proceeds from the coffee morning held on the day of the meeting, which was well-attended.
