A pair of Sidmouth artists who have been painting for more than half a century will be showcasing their life’s work next week.

Bryan Dawkins and Peter Goodhall will be exhibiting a wide range of subject matter with an abundance of marine work in their contrasting styles and mediums at Kennaway House from Saturday, August 12.

The free exhibition in the Hatton Wood Room will be open every day from 10am to 5pm and will close on Sunday, August 12.

Bryan will work in any medium that the subject demands, but he favours acrylics and specialises in painting seascapes, classic boats and other marine subjects, inspired by the Devon coastline.

Peter will be returning to the venue for a second time in 12 months to show his work, which is predominantly done with oil paint. His paintings of nudes in water have previously been bought in Hong Kong and Australia and have won multiple international awards.
