A SIDMOUTH granddad will end decades of charity exploits with a ‘cockney knees-up’ next week.
Water Lane resident Baz Breadmore, 71, hopes Friday the 13th will prove lucky for the British Heart Foundation and see him reach a 54,000 fundraising goal he set himself more than 30 years ago.
Baz recently raised thousands when he took on Everest -despite only having one lung.
His May 13 cockney event at the Blue Ball, Sidford, will feature bangers and mash, cabaret, a sing along and performances by folk singer Sue King and keyboard player Rob Preese.

“I thought a good old knees-up would be good fun,” said Baz, “I’m almost up to my 54,000 goal and reckon this will get me over the line.”
