A familiar face for Sidmouth bowlers is turning 100 this month.
Nina Parrot lived in the town for 40 years and was a keen player of the sport, representing the county.
She was the Lady Captain of the Sidmouth Bowls Club, where her legacy is the Nina Cup.
The former Alexandra Road resident was born in Liverpool, and now lives in near her family in south Wales, where she will celebrate her birthday on March 11.
