A TREAT was in store for the 1st Sidmouth Brownies this week as they paid a visit to the local fire station. The young girls went on the trip as a reward for raising over 400 for their Changing The World Book Aid project at a coffee morning they held two weeks ago. Sidmouth firefighters made the girls feel welcome and taught them about all the equipment they use to put out blazes. The excited youngsters also got the chance to watch a ladder drill demonstration.
