SIDMOUTH builders are being advised against using overweight vehicles.
Traffic officer Chris Wright has this week issued a word of warning after a local builder was alleged to have overloaded his vehicle.
PC Wright said overloading of vehicles results in the weight shifting from front to back and affects the breaking distance.
People can be issued a court summons if their vehicle is found to be overweight.
