What’s the history of your business and what does it do?
“We are greengrocers providing the town with a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables, many of which are grown in the Sid and Otter valleys.
“We also provide a beautiful selection of plants and flowers also grown in the local area.”
The business has been in the market for at least 30 years with husband and wife, Paul and Judith running the stall for more than 10 years now, with the help of Gina and Val.
“We offer a choice of fresh seasonal produce, most grown locally and others delivered from Bristol Market several times a week.

“We hopefully offer a friendly, familiar face, which can be reassuring for those who like to have a chat; we can deliver to those who are unable to carry goods.

“We would like to thank the Sid Valley Business Awards for our award and most especially everyone who has supported us over the last 11 years in the market.
“It’s nice to feel appreciated and we have had lots of lovely feedback from our customers since winning.”
Where do you see your business in five years’ time?
“Who knows what the future holds for our business – times have certainly become much harder but we are lucky to have our regular customers and a good summer trade that certainly helps.”
What advice do you have for anyone thinking of starting their own business in Sidmouth?
“To anyone hoping to start their own business – I hope that they have plenty of energy!”
