AT the end of the May Spring Concert in St. Francis Hall, a presentation was made to Janet Webber to mark her retirement from the Cameo Singers and thank her for her great contribution to the choir.
She has been proactively involved with the choir for the past 10 years and has at times held roles of director of music, conductor and latterly pianist.
She drew on her wide knowledge to create very interesting and varied music in her programmes and incorporated talented local musicians as guest performers.
The Cameo Singers meet on Wednesday mornings at St. Francis Hall at 10.00am and the new term starts on September 8.
