Campaign 2011 re-starts with jumble sale at Stowford community centre
GOOD quality clothes are needed for a fundraising jumble sale for Stowford Community Centre.
“We are badly in need of clothes and would be glad of any other items,” said Jan Jones, who has organised the event, which will run from 10am to 1pm at the centre on Saturday, October 22.
The centre’s caf� is becoming more and more popular. Open from 9.30am to 3.30pm, volunteers offer breakfast for �3-�5, paninis, soup and roll and a selection of cakes as well as teas and coffees.
“We could do with more volunteers to help out,” added Jan, who can be contacted on (01395) 579195 for both offers of help and for jumble.
