A SIDMOUTH chef will cycle from London to Paris to raise cash for a children's health charity next year.
Victoria Hotel sous-chef David Goldthorpe, 39, who lives in Ridgeway Gardens, Ottery St Mary, will pedal the gruelling 254 miles next July for Action Medical Research.
Dad of one David was inspired to raise cash for charity after his wife suffered a stroke in childbirth. Thanks to treatment she has since made a full recovery and is expecting another tot.
