Chris Velvin, 27, has produced 20 copies of the book and has already sold two, charging �2 - money that will go to the residents' fund to help pay for computer equipment to help some of the 46 residents keep in touch with family abroad.
Jacky Lee is new manager of the Winslade Road home and confirmed East Devon MP Hugo Swire would be opening the tea party - open to all - at 2pm, in the home's attractive gardens.
