YOUNGSTERS who want to find out more about Jesus in a fun and friendly environment have enjoyed a summer holiday club this week.
Hosted by the Sid Valley Mission Community, the event began on Tuesday with activities including fun games, art and craft activities and songs.
The event has a Dr Who theme and Dr Luke and his crazy companion have been running the club, which aims to discover the truth about who Jesus was and why so many people still follow him to this day.
The last morning session, which will be held in St Nicholas' School, takes place today and organiser Reverend Dave Brown says he expects around 50 children, aged between five and eleven, to turn up.

Speaking to the Herald earlier this week he said: "We had 35 kids turn up on Tuesday and we are hoping for about 45 to 50 by the end of the week. It has gone very well so far."
The first holiday club was held last year with a superheroes theme and Reverend Brown is pleased with its growing popularity.
