Switch on of the Christmas Lights
A crowd of several hundred people gathered in the Market Place on Friday to see the Christmas Lights get switched on. The honours were given to Sidmouth PCSO Jay Bowden who led the countdown before the town centre was illuminated by thousands of festive lights. Sidmouth Primary School pupil Ethan Morley with his brother Dylan scooped the Golden Ticket winning a voucher for £100 to spend in the Toymaster shop on Church Street while Father Christmas joined in the fun handing out sweets.
