Sidmouth club bridges the gap

SIDMOUTH Bridge Club raised £300 for charity at a Special Bridge Event last week. Members and guests turned out in force to support the event, in aid of the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, based in Exeter. There was a record turnout of ten tables at Sidmouth

SIDMOUTH Bridge Club raised £300 for charity at a Special Bridge Event last week.

Members and guests turned out in force to support the event, in aid of the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, based in Exeter.

There was a record turnout of ten tables at Sidmouth Rugby Club, which hosted the fundraiser.

Angela Lovatt, Sidmouth Bridge Club president, said: "It was great to see so many people there and we hope some might join us at this friendly club which meets on Mondays and Thursdays for Duplicate and Tuesdays and Fridays for Rubber- they would be very welcome."
