A YOUNG student from Sidmouth College had a lucky escape yesterday (Tuesday) while crossing the Sidford Road on his way to school via its Clayhill Lane entrance.
A YOUNG student from Sidmouth College had a lucky escape yesterday (Tuesday) while crossing the Sidford Road on his way to school via its Clayhill Lane entrance.
The lad was involved in an accident with a slow moving car and escaped serious injury.
Police and ambulance attended the scene at 8.37am.
Principal Jeremy Roberts has stressed the need for a proper crossing on the A375 following the accident.
