SIDMOUTH College students were thanked by Rotary Club of Sid Valley members after raising more than �600 for a campaign to eradicate polio across the globe.
Sixth formers formed a charity committee and staged fundraising events to boost Rotary’s international initiative.
Teenagers organised special assemblies for the college’s upper and lower schools to raise awareness of the devastating disease.
Sid Valley Rotary Club president Paul Dowen presented college head girl Jasmine White, 18, and fellow sixth formers Megan Booth, 18, and Max Faulkner, 17, with a certificate on Wednesday.
