MANAGER S accommodation at the Grade Two listed Barn & Pinn Cottage, Sidmouth, should be allowed to be converted into two en-suite letting rooms, say town planners.

MANAGER'S accommodation at the Grade Two listed Barn & Pinn Cottage, Sidmouth, should be allowed to be converted into two en-suite letting rooms, say town planners.

Meeting last Wednesday, Sidmouth Town Council's planning committee supported an application by Mr P Clinch to convert the existing bungalow and convert an existing letting room to a disabled access room.

Councillor Tony Reed said the buildings to be converted were "relatively modern" but listed consent was needed because of their association with the original cottage.
