STUART Hughes feels like a “new man” after shedding more than four stone in as many months.
STUART Hughes feels like a “new man” after shedding more than four stone in as many months.
The Sidmouth town, district and county councillor has had to replace his entire wardrobe of clothes after his waistline dropped from a size 38 to a size 32.
Stuart decided enough was enough after he tipped the scales at a weighty 18 stone after Christmas.
He swapped over indulgence and extra puddings for a healthy diet of salad, fish, eggs and yoghourt.
“Some people say I look good, some people say I don’t look good- but I feel like a new man,” said Stuart.
“I was far too big and was too easily tempted by nice puddings and all things sugary.
“I feel much better- and I’ve had to kit myself out again.
“It’s all about willpower at the end of the day.”
