Firefighters received reports of a fire alarm going off in a commercial property last night (Thursday).
Firefighters from Sidmouth were called out to Fore Street last night (Thursday) after reports of a fire alarm going off inside a commercial building.
The crew arrived on scene at around 9.30pm and requested a key holder so a search could be carried out.
A fire spokesman said: “A key holder was requested and the crew searched around the building with a thermal imaging camera.
“There was no sign of fire so entry wasn’t forced. With the arrival of a key holder duty of care was handed over and the crew returned to station.”
