Bray and Stay weekend among events planned at Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary
WITH the approach of the summer holidays Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary has planned a new programme of events.
In addition to regular walks, talks and demonstrations, other events include its Summer Fair on Sunday, August 14, from 10am – 4pm.
There is chance for an extended visit to the Sanctuary with the Bray and Stay experience weekend on Friday and Saturday, August 19 – 20.
The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust (EST) for Children and Donkeys will also hold a more formal Charity Ball starting at 7.30pm on Friday, August 12.
The Sanctuary’s Hayloft restaurant will host a barbecue and Quiz Night on August 3 and an Italian Theme Night the following Wednesday, August 10.
Younger visitors can enjoy the Junior Donkey Club from 9am – 4:30pm on Friday July 29, and Fridays throughout August, Summer Donkey Hunts, daily from Saturday July 23 to Thursday, September 1 and Teddy Bear’s Picnic and Donkey Trek events from 11:30am to 2pm each Tuesday in August.
Proceeds from all the events will go to the international animal welfare charity or the EST.
