Week of spooky fun in store at Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary
THE Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary is getting into the Halloween mood for the school holidays by hosting some special events next week with its sister charity, the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys (EST).
These include activity workshops on Wednesday and Thursday, October 28/29 from 11.30am to 3.30pm, gentle grooming sessions on Tuesday, October 26 and Friday October 29 from 10.30am – 12noon and 1.30pm – 3pm, and a hunt to find pumpkins around the sanctuary with a chance to win a prize from Saturday, October 23 to Sunday October 31, starting at the Visitor’s Centre.
Afternoons are full of activities at the EST centre on Tuesday, October 26 and Thursday October 28 from 1.30pm –to 3.30pm and, for children, a special breakfast with Lucky, the donkey mascot at the Hayloft Restaurant, will take place on Tuesday, October 26.
