RESIDENTS and a host of organisations have been invited to an awareness morning in Sidmouth tomorrow (Tuesday, October 20) which aims to promote a better understanding of memory problems.
The Sidmouth Locality Health and Care Team, with the backing of Sidmouth Victoria Cottage Hospital, has organised the “what is on your mind” event at the town’s Methodist Church Hall on Tuesday from 10am to 12.30pm.
Ian Skinner, chairman of the Locality Health and Care team said: “The objective is to try and reach out to the general public in the local area, including Sidmouth, the Sid Valley and Newton Poppleford, to promote a better understanding of memory problems and how to manage physical and mental wellbeing.”
