ORGANISERS of FolkWeek are rejoicing after booming ticket sales and positive feedback from festival fans.
Online ticket sales are up 50 per cent on the same period last year and the official website received 4,000 individual hits last week alone.
Tickets went on sale on January 1 and the first ticket was bought three minutes later by a regular festival-goer from Boston, Massachusetts.
