A MOUNTAIN of Sidmouth clotted cream fudge helped Devon win a best in show award at Europe's largest outdoors exhibition.The 2,500 pieces of fudge from Roly's Fudge Pantry, in Fore Street, were used to tickle the taste buds of judges at the National Outdoors Show at the NEC Birmingham. Devon County Council's Countryside and Public Rights of Way team were at the event to showcase the new Devon brand.The tasty teeth-melting treat helped the county beat Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Snowdonia and the Peak District, as well as New Zealand and Switzerland, to take the top honour.
