WITH committee members busy doing door-to-door collections during Christian Aid Week: May 10-16, many of Sidmouth's events will take place the week before.
Christian Aid regional organiser Martin Nicholls will take part in the morning service at Sidmouth Methodist Church at 10.30am on Sunday, May 3.
The following Tuesday a lunchtime concert in the church at 11.30am, followed by homemade soup in the Methodist hall, begins at 11.30am. Admission is �5 to include lunch.
The concert features Joan Edgecumbe (mezzo-soprano), Ruth James (violin), Dorothy Worthington (piano).
On Saturday, May 9, the annual Christian Aid Sale will take place at the Methodist Hall from 10am to 11.30am.
