Crews say they have enjoyed several calm sessions while admiring a sunny Sidmouth from the sea.
Gig clubs from all over the South West are represented in the fast growing sport.
A Jurassic League is under way and Sidmouth organisers are appealing for anybody interested in joining them.
Rowing sessions take place at Port Royal on Fridays 6pm and Sundays at 10.30am.
