SIDMOUTH Gig Club is on the lookout for new members after unveiling its first competitive vessel.
Anybody interested in getting on board with the group is welcome to attend sessions at Port Royal at 6pm on Fridays.
No experience is necessary as training will be available.
Anyone interested in attending is advised to wear suitable clothing to get wet, and to bring a change of dry clothes.
The club’s next fundraising event is a quiz night next Saturday, April 28, at Port Royal.
Tickets (�10 per person) include supper and are available from Winchester’s or Sidmouth Trawlers.
