WARMER weather has sparked Sidmouth Gig Club into staging Sunday morning rowing sessions.
WARMER weather has sparked Sidmouth Gig Club into staging Sunday morning rowing sessions.
With longer days now upon us, organisers say Friday night activities, followed by a social at the Port Royal clubhouse, are also on the horizon.
Weather conditions permitting, gig club members will be rowing on Sunday. They will set off at 10.30am from the beach at The Ham.
“We will be offering the chance to have a row for �2 a go,” said club member Val Huntington.

Each session lasts around half an hour .
“We have a dedicated phone number- 07979 970711- which is updated on the day of rowing to report on sea conditions,” added Val.
