THE 1st Sidmouth Guides enjoyed an egg-stravaganza at their Lawn Vista headquarters on Saturday when they staged a spring fair.
Youngsters took part in an Easter egg hunt and festivities also included cake decorating, a lucky dip, hook-a-duck, sweets in the jar, and naming the cuddly dog.
A grand raffle, with gifts and vouchers donated by local shops and visitor attractions, was hailed a great success and the guides were very grateful for everything they received.
All funds raised at the event will go towards the unit’s special Diamond Jubilee trip to Buckingham Palace later this year.
