TWO drivers were slapped with parking fines for causing an obstruction after an 18-ton lorry was unable to move down Sidmouth High Street.
Police were called to the grid-locked street on Wednesday following reports of a traffic jam from Lloyds TSB up to the Radway.
Tickets were given to the drivers, who had legally parked at either side of the road near the bank, for obstructing the flow of traffic.
