Homemade cakes from Sidmouth congregation to help raise funds for cancer charity
HOMEMADE cakes will be quite an attraction at a Macmillan Cancer Support big coffee morning in Sidmouth.
It will be held at St Teresa’s Hall, Connaught Road, on Friday, September 24 from 10am to 12.30pm. Admission is �1 and there will be a prize draw.
Margaret Draper is organising the event, having taken over last year from former Citizen of the Year, Monica Macadam, who planned it for some 25 years.
“Last year we raised �331 and would like to match that or achieve more,” said Margaret.
