Popular literary season welcomes Michael Holroyd to Sidmouth’s’ Kennaway House

BIOGRAPHER Michael Holroyd will be in Sidmouth on Friday, October 7, to talk about his work to an audience at Kennaway House, as third speaker in its Readers and Writers 2011 season. Michael, knighted for his services to literature in 2007, is married to novelist Margaret Drabble and he will talk about Basil Street Blues, a memoir, and its sequel, Mosaic, prompted by public reaction. Tickets, £8 from Kennaway House. Doors open at 7pm.
