Some viewers in Sidmouth are bucking the technological trend of paying for televison licenses online, according to research.
The town was ranked 10th among Devon towns or cities to embrace the e-licence, with 1,766 people choosing the paperless online option of paying, according to TV Licensing.
Although this is an indication that more residents are going online, 195 Sidmouth residents still prefer to pay with cheque, making the town the 8th in Devon most likely to use this method of payment.
TV Licensing is encouraging license holders to go paperless.
