PAST and present members of Sidmouth Infants celebrated the school's 70th anniversary last week.

A host of celebrations took place during Friday, marking the anniversary, and included a performance by the pupils to an appreciative audience.

The youngsters took part in 'Sidmouth School Musical', based on the popular Disney film, 'High School Musical'.

Following the all-singing and dancing show, the 70th anniversary cake cutting ceremony took place.

Pupils and head teacher Hillary Williams had the prestigious honour of cutting the delicious dessert and dishing it out to parents and past pupils.
